Public comfort rooms

I am in a hurry. I passed through a crowded passage of Divisoria before I reached the wash room. Finally, Im next in line. Wheew! Im relieved. I survived my first few minutes of sacrifice.

Public toilets, they all are unique in structural designs. One thing I noticed was their similarity, Vandalism.

I must say these are very familiar to you,”Nid textm8? 09223453445 – Hot Kristie,”, “Pls. help, wht if hinihingi na sau ng bf mo un, ano ang gagwn m?, and my all time favorite,“Pakebohusan ang C.R. pls!! MAPANGHE! I tell you it made me smile.

As I left the room, I cant help but tell it to my friend who’s waiting outside. She laughed, and we laughed together. What’s funny was, these vandalism, were replied by people who accidentally brought pens with them and expressed their thoughts on the ideas written on the back doors of the comfort rooms. “Tanong mo sa bf m kng bkt nia hnhngi un?,” “Go sister! Try it!”, “Ambisyosa!” These replies were literally written in broad markers with an arrow from the question, expressing their support, or should I say non-sense comment. The funny thing was, I still read it, maybe because, I’m entertained. I can’t help but wonder how did they do it? Did they do it while

peeing? Or after? Some of the vandals are written in the bottom sides of the back door. It was impossible to write it while standing right? I assume they really put effort on bending down just to write their sentiments. It was kind of funny at the same time very disappointing. We all do have peers to say what’s on our minds, it can be our problems, serious or comical thoughts. We may at least have a bonding with that person.

Im just thinking how many litters of chemicals should be used for washing the vandals off? It is obviously painful and traumatic for the janitress and janitors, if ever they were asked to do the task. They’d probably be mad over and over again to the people who love to vandal, less the fact of the smelly and dirty public wash rooms. Personally, I don’t support vandalism, I guess no one does. But honestly I’ll be missing this vandalism, if it’ll be gone. At least, after the hardship of struggling with call of nature, and heartily waited in line with your varicose aching, you’ll have the time to read the many cries and sentiments of our beloved fellowmen. Im pretty much sure after loosing your digested food and excess water you’ll go out with a happy and smiling face.
